A fast-paced gardening game with strategy and tower-defense inspirations. Created for the Great Spring Jam by Firith Studio and Goodgis, with a narrative drawn vaguely from Lovecraftian-style horror.

Mouse over places and things to see what you can do with them, and press the corresponding button/key to start the action.


Technical Focuses:

In each game for a jam, we try to develop or prototype a system we've been throwing ideas around on. For Seasonal, these were:

Terrain Corruption

You'll notice that the terrain changes its texture based on it proximity to the good and evil plants. While the system doesn't transition as smoothly as originally imagined, it works well enough.

Worker Manager

In later levels, you will have the ability to spawn helper sprites that will water plants for you. While the level design doesn't quite showcase its abilities, the manager written for this system is able to intelligently assign workers to complete its objectives more efficiently.  We expect this system will feature in future games by Liberation Games.
